# Open for Agents

> Open for Agents makes a business agent-ready and agent-native in one place: generated discovery files, a hosted agent and the business's tools over A2A 1.0 and MCP, and quotes, holds, and orders under a policy the business sets. A free readiness scan shows what agents can read on a website today.

## Public API

- POST https://openforagents.ai/api/scans with JSON {"url": "https://example.com"}: starts a scan (rate limited per IP). Returns {id, status, report_url}; report_url is /r/{report_token}.
- GET https://openforagents.ai/api/scans/{id}?token={report_token}: scan status, score, and summary.
- GET https://openforagents.ai/api/scans/{id}/findings?token={report_token}: findings with evidence.
- GET https://openforagents.ai/r/{report_token}: the report page (private, not indexed).
- GET https://openforagents.ai/health and https://openforagents.ai/status: service health; status adds the scan queue depth.
- [Offer feed format a2ahello-offers/1](https://openforagents.ai/docs/feed): JSON or CSV, used to connect a business's data.

## Tenant endpoints

Each business on Open for Agents has its own endpoints, exposing only the tools it has published (writes need a key or OAuth token and the business's agent policy):

- A2A agent card: https://openforagents.ai/t/{slug}/a2a/agent-card.json
- One connection to every opted-in business: https://openforagents.ai/mcp (find_business, then tools by tenant_id)
